What will I receive if I join the STEAM in the Kitchen Club?

Our S.T.E.A.M. in the Kitchen Club is an interactive monthly educational club combining science, technology, engineering, art and math into the kitchen for hours of fun. Your child can receive mail each month and get fun activities and prizes. One activity per month!

What age range is the Chef Kids Kit?

Available for kids between the ages of 4 to 15! Children ages 4 to 10 must work alongside an adult in the kitchen. Early teens ages 11 to 15 can practice their cooking skills by helping prepare the family meals. *Teens ages 15 and older can use the kit independently depending on their level of culinary skill and ambition, as well as permission from their parents.

What is the difference between the STEAM in the Kitchen Club and the Chef Kids Kit?

The STEAM in the Kitchen Club is a monthly membership club for kids ages 4 - 12. Your child will receive a kitchen prize item in the mail for $20 or less per month (with a prepaid or annual plan) postage included. Prizes consist of placemats, STEAM activity, kitchen experiment, magnet or similar, one item mailed monthly.

Chef Kids Kits are interactive cooking kits designed to take your child from picky eater to Chef Kid. These kits require more parent supervision and contain additional items such as multiple recipes, snacks, activity sheet, kitchen gadget and much more. You can purchase a Chef Kids Kit for $46.

Can I purchase the picky eater resources as laminated hard copies?

Some Picky Eater Resources are currently free to download. You can also purchase the Parent Resource Packet, check here for what items you will receive in the Parent Resource Packet.

Can I make any single kits or the STEAM in the Kitchen Club a gift?

Yes! During checkout please add in the notes section that your item is a gift. We will not send payment information or receipt to your recipient. 

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment, we do not ship internationally.

Is food included in the Chef Kids kits?

Our Chef Kids Kit introduces a tasty dairy-free and egg-free snacks for kids to try in every kit. Sometimes snacks are available in the STEAM in the Kitchen Club.

Are ingredients included in the kits?

No, but almost all the ingredients can be in your regular grocery store, and many are available online.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, etc.)?

Yes! All the snacks in the Chef Kids Kits are plant-based vegetarian. Most times, the snacks are vegan and always dairy-free. Sometimes we include gluten-free snacks. You can alter the recipes for specific dietary restrictions, but we do not provide the specialized alterations to the recipes.

When will I get my items in the mail?

Chef Kids Kits will ship 5 - 10 business days after your purchase. We will inform you of any delays in shipping. 

For the STEAM in the Kitchen Club membership, we ship items each month at or around the 20th of the month. Please allow 10 - 15 business days after shipment to receive your order. 

What if I did not like my purchase? 

We are unable to accept product returns or issue refunds for kits or club memberships due to the unique nature of our products. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time and receive a prorated refund for your membership or kit subscription. Refunds will be issued by check only and mailed to your current address.

What if my kit is damaged upon arrival?

Damaged items may be replaced depending on the circumstances. Please provide us with photo documentation of damaged kits or club prizes.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Chef Kids members are charged at the end of their subscription term. You may turn off your next auto-renewal at any time! Here is how:

1. Visit our Contact Us page
2. In the subject line write Cancel My Renewal.
3. In the body please tell us your cancellation reason, then submit.

      Log into your account and manage your subscriptions to cancel your plan.

Prepaid Plans: If you are on a 12 month, or prepaid plan, you will continue to receive your club prizes until the end of your current prepaid billing period. If you cancel before the end of your subscription, we will calculate your refund on a monthly basis.

Can I update my payment method?

Chef Kids members are charged at the end of their subscription term. You may turn off your next auto-renewal at any time! Here is how:

2. In the subject line write Update Payment
3. Please tell us the name on the card, then submit. We will send you an email with how to update your payment method.

How do I report an issue with my club membership or kit?

Please email us using our contact form. We respond to all emails within 24 hours during business hours (Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 4 pm CST). Photos of the issue should accompany any reports of damage. If kit or club membership was not received, report issues to us within 30 days of shipment.
